Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Even though Mum doesn't usually do excessive cleaning, the upcoming holiday dinner is bringing out the worst. I think it's because her mum is visiting and if there's any dust to be found, she'll find it. Grandpa tends to be more relaxed, and tries to lighten things up. I figure dinner should be an interesting occasion tomorrow.

I've been helping in the shop along with Fred, though mostly I've been going over the books and organizing the office. I'm convinced that Dad leaves everything in one box and waits for me to come home and sort it out. I've tried to show him how my organizing system works, but it never seems to make sense to him.

Other than the spring cleaning, I'm enjoying being home. It's nice to visit the family and have a breather from Hogwarts every once in awhile. And usually by the time the end of the holidays comes around, I'm ready to go back to school. I love my family, but it's kind of nice to be own my own, you know?

Here's hoping that everyone has a happy Easter, and doesn't eat too much candy.

Happy Easter to you, too! I think the lack of organization is a Dad thing. Mine has an office, but it's mostly just a final resting spot for all his forms, papers, and records, in no discernable system as far as I can tell.

And I think that being ready to leave by now is a normal thing. At least I hope it's normal.

Thank you! I agree, I'm not quite sure how Dad gets anything done really.
